Strokes given are on full difference of handicaps. In case of the score being “all square” on the 18th, the match is decided on the better net score over the next three holes.
If the match is still tied on the 21st hole, then the decision is by “Sudden Death” (whoever wins the next hole is the winner with the score of 1 up).

No strokes to be given.
If the match is “all square” after the 18th hole, the winner will be decided by “Sudden Death”.
Two-ball Greensome Match Play

Both partners tee off and select one of the drives. Thereafter they play alternate shots. Strokes are given on 40% of the difference between the combined course handicaps of the partners.
A (h’cap -4) & B (h’cap -24) are partners. Total h’cap is 28.C (h’cap8) & D (h’cap 38) are the opponents. The difference in combined h’caps is 10; 40% of 10 = 4 strokes. Hence ‘C’ and ‘D’ get 4 strokes from ‘A’ & ‘B’. If players are “All Square” on the 18th Green the result is decided by better nett score over the next three holes, and thereafter by “Sudden Death”.

Each team plays only one ball, playing alternate shots from tee to green. One player must tee off from all even numbered holes, the other partner to tee off from odd numbered holes.
The team with a higher combined handicap receives 50% of the difference between the combined course handicaps of the members of each side.

Eclectic Competition
The Eclectic Golf Chart is up on the Notice Board.
An eclectic competition is a multi-round golf competition that results in one 18-hole score per player. Golfers compare their scores for each round and select the lowest score for each hole. That’s their eclectic score.
The players may contact the Ladies Captain / Competition Manager for further clarification.
To be noted the Eclectic is only applicable to DGC Ladies Sections monthly competitions ONLY and not EDS cards.
If the Eclectic Chart is not updated sufficiently by the players only a token prize will be given. (To acknowledge the commitment of the player)
