WALTER LOCKE OPEN MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP 2023

FACT SHEET

Participating members are requested to comply with the under mentioned facts while playing the Walter Locke Open Matchplay Championship.

·       Tournament format   –        Individual Matchplay

·   Tournament Tees      –        (0-9)          –         Black Tee

        (10-18)       –        Blue Tee  

 Red Tee (Ladies)

·  Tee Offs – Matches to be fixed individually

Contact details of all the participants are with the starters

         1st Round –        16th May to 26th May’ 2023

2nd Round –        27th May to 08th June’ 2023

3rd Round –        9th June to 14th June’ 2023

·   Distance measuring devices are permitted as per the guidelines of R & A (without slope).

·   No Mobile phones to be used except for using Golf App on phone.

·   Local Rules:

a) As displayed on back side of the score card.

b)  Penalty area on 12th (Right side) & 13th (Left side) hole are defined by Red stakes.

c) The player may take a relief under rule 16.1b, if the ball comes to rest in aeration hole.

d) Drop must be taken in areas marked as GUR.

     ·   No  stopping at Annexe after 9 holes
·    Change of Ball is not permitted on the green.
·   Pace of play – 4:50 Minutes
·   On completion of match please inform Starter about the Result.
·   Golf Carts may be used during the matches
·   Prizes – Winner & Runner Up in both H’cap categories.
